There are so many reasons that you may want your play filmed. For a showreel, as a way to share
the experience with friends and family who can’t attend, as a promotional tool to take the play to
various venues and locations, as a way to sell DVD’s (Is there another way to sell videos to the
public without being on Netflix etc?) to members of the public, as evidence that funding grants are
being spent constructively, as a way of promoting your follow up show and maybe just as a gift to
say thank you to the actors and technicians involved
